Twitter power is amazing…I have been using Twitter extensively for few months,

First couple little tips:

  1. Never spam Twitter, do not send repeated identical tweets or follow people too aggressively. Twitter just changed the rules and I know for a fact that you will be shot down in no time! Trust me on this one; I am still working with Twitter trying to lift suspension on my couple accounts.
  2. If you setting your Twitter account for the first time, newer protect your tweets, this will limit you showing tweets only to your list of friends. The goal is to show your tweets to as many tweeter members you could.
  3. To generate more traffic to your Twitter account, make sure to replace your name with your keyword. If you are trying to find people in your niche, let’s say talking about marketing. You should enter keyword: internet marketing. The reason why you would need to do this is: new and existing members will not look for your name, but they will enter key word in there niche they are looking for. This way they will find you and follow you.

 

This tip is really important. If you reach about 1900 followers, be sure to have the ratio of followers and members you follow close to 100%. if you follow lot more than your follower list, you will not be able to go over 2000 followers. Twitter have set up the account that if you follow lot more Twitter members than you have followers, they will not let you go over 2000 number of  followers.If you reach over 2000 followers, than sky is the limit! Remember, you can not spam Twitter! They will shot you down in no time!
